Sponsored event: cycling in aid of maisha |
|
Hello! My name is Jacques Flamant and I am 38 years old. A year ago I discovered that I have asthma and so I decided to stop smoking and set myself some targets to improve my condition.
This year on July 26th, I will be cycling from London to Cambridge (100 km) in aid of maisha. The challenge is that I have never cycled more than 50 km before and I am aiming to do this in under 5 hours.
Maisha is an association that aims to help orphans in Kenya. Maisha is a small family-run home where orphans are given shelter, food and education, but also love and the sense of having a family.
I hope to try and raise 4,500 CHF to build a well which will provide fresh and clean water for the home.
If you would be willing to sponsor me and help an orphan have a better life, please fill out your details below. Please also note that your sponsorship can be deducted from your taxes. You just need to keep a copy of the IBAN transaction.

You can choose to sponsor me by donating a lump sum or an amount per km cycled. Alternatively, you can choose to donate a amount per minute cycled remembering that our target is to cover 100 km in less than 5 hours.
You will find pictures of the event after the race on a website that I will circulate to all my sponsors.
Thank you in advance on behalf of the maisha children! Jacques Flamant
