2010
Duncan was born in 2002. He never knew his father and his mother died during the post-electoral riots in 2008. He moved into the maisha home in January 2009 along with his older sister, Lucy and his younger brother, Meschack.

Duncan had never attended school before he came to maisha, but is now in class 1 of the nearby Gituamba Primary School.

He is a very jovial boy, who never holds a grudge and forgives easily. He is definitely a peacemaker
in the home.
